Shawn responded quickly to our inquiry and priced home competitively. Miles Ashley took excellent pictures and gave great advice on staging our home. He was always available to explain the process and answer questions as they came up, responding immediately. Miles went to bat for us when needed and put our minds at ease, as we had not sold a home before. Taylor, their assistant, was helpful at answering questions and getting us through the paperwork. Who buys a house in the middle of a COVID-affected economy?? My husband and I apparently! We had no idea what buying a home was going to be like in such a unique time in our country's history. Thankfully, Shawn and her team made the experience a smooth one. We had her or a member of her team meeting us at so many homes while we were looking. We were on a bit of time crunch to buy a home, so every home that came on the market and met our criteria (and there weren't many!) was seen by us. Never did we get the impression that we were wasting Shawn's time. The day we found "our home" is one I will remember always. I knew it the moment I walked in that this was "the one". After we talked details, Shawn asked to pray with me over the home and purchase offer. That's the kind of personal attention to who we are as people - not just "buyers" - that sets Shawn apart. The amount of time she gave to us to get to know us during every interaction that occurred during this process shows her commitment to people and building relationships is foremost in her mind, not just selling properties.

Shawn met with us after my husband had submitted an email to her requesting a meeting. This was during the COVID shutdown. A week later, Shawn was at our kitchen table. She and her agent, Miles, spent a nice amount of time getting to know us and our needs/wants/motivations for selling our home. Having us work with Miles was a tremendous blessing in that he was the motivator for us getting our home ready to list. The photos that were taken of our home made it look fantastic and drew in numerous interested persons on the first day of its listing. Our home sold within the first 30 hours of being listed! Shawn kept the process moving along nicely as we found our new home and finally met for the closing.
