We are relative novices when it comes to selling a house having only owned two houses in our life and never having sold one before (we had rented the other house we owned out for years and are now back living in it). We had talked to other brokers before Christine Tirotta and had been left pretty despondent. They did not seem to understand or value our historic property and were pretty discouraging about what they thought it would sell for and what they thought we needed to do to prepare for a sale. When we met with Christine, our fortunes took a turn for the better. She had bothered to research our house and understood it was a historic property with prospects. She very patiently worked with us for over a year as we completed fixing up another house that we planned to move into. Keep in mind--we had not signed a contract yet so her investment in helping us meant that much more to us. She touched base at just the right times, was never pushy, and with each contact, we were more and more convinced she was our person. As we moved into our final push to get the house ready to list, she was there with solid advice about what did/did not need to be done and with good recommendations of local workers who could do the work in a professional and timely fashion. We could so easily have been held up for months waiting for workmen to be available. We never considered using a different broker. Christine expertly guided us through the entire sale process. We had two full-price offers on the table the day after the house could first be shown. Christine talked us through our options, helping us assess the offers we received, and calming us as we waited to hear inspection results after accepting one of them. It was a bit of a nerve-wracking process after accepting the offer because the buyer did a lot of inspections and then took a long time to get back to us (in the end, asking for nothing)--Christine was a calm and reassuring presence through that entire time. Christine is an amazing person. She stayed with us through what ended up being a long process of getting our house ready to sell. I never once felt like she was impatient or upset with how long it was taking us to get things ready to go. She was a true cheerleader. She kept her eyes open for potential buyers even before we had officially listed so that once we did, she was ready to hit the ground running. I've already started recommending her to friends who may be in the market to sell in the coming year. Selling a house is a fraught experience. Our experience went better than we had ever expected it would and it's because we absolutely trusted and listened to Christine and followed her advice to the letter. I highly recommend her to anyone selling their house.

Christine was specifically selected by myself because of her experience with the graduate community. we did not use my husband's stipend to get a loan for the house, but rather my salary. However, it was crucial that our realtor understood financial limitations, and goals. Christine excelled at this. She respected the need for us to see a good number of houses, drove us around town, and was extremely responsive. Christine was happy for us throughout the process. She was amazing at negotiating our home for 2k less (her suggestion), text messaged a complicated document signing process while my husband was out of town in California, and worked directly with the selling agent to make sure we got what was promised when a last minute garage door broke. Christine is the way to go. On top of her professionalism, you simple will my meet a kinder person.

We worked with Christine Tirotta when purchasing our new home and so it was a natural next step to have her help us sell our home. Christine was stellar in all facets as we prepared to sell our home. As we wanted to put some time and money into our home prior to putting it on the market (in an effort to help it sell more quickly), Christine was critical in helping to identify the best places for us to dedicate our resources. It ultimately took us two weeks longer than anticipated to prepare the house for market, but Christine was patient with us and always willing to check on our progress and answer our questions. We ultimately sold our home, with multiple competing offers, within two days of putting it on the market!! Over the years, we have worked previously with a number of other brokers, including a few at Cressy and Everett. Ultimately, a connection with a friend led us to consider Christine Tirotta -- really, it was clear after one conversation that she understood our style and what we were looking for more than any of our prior agents. While it took us three tries to have a successful bid for a home, in a very competitive market, I feel that we ultimately purchased the best of the bunch. On top of that, Christine's attention to detail and advice during the inspection process saved us in a significant way as the seller had already had a passed septic inspection and Christine suggested we conduct our own with someone she trusts. Ultimately, that septic inspection failed and the issue was corrected before we closed. Christine Tirotta's an excellent agent and advocate, going above and beyond throughout the process. She has considerable knowledge of the area, is a fantastic listener, and served as a great guide every step of the way. Truly stellar and would highly recommend!
